Change an employee token
Employee tokens are used on public pages for calendars and requesting time off without the requirement of signing in to WorkSked. Tokens create obfuscated URLs that prevent others from seeing your data. The benefit of using tokens for public pages is that regular employees do not have to sign in to interact with WorkSked.
Follow these steps to change an employee token:
- Go to the Employees page.
- Select any employee.
- Go to the Token section.
- Press the Regenerate Token button.
Warning: Regenerating an employee token will invalidate the employee’s links to public pages. Only regenerate the employee token if necessary.
